ESTILL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Estill County Animal Shelter is concerned that they will have to start euthanizing animals if adoptions don't pick up.

According to the shelter director, they have received several drop-offs and will have to set a date for euthanasia if animals don't find a forever home.

This morning alone, the shelter received drop offs of six dogs this morning alone. If you are interested in adopting a dog or cat, give the shelter a call at 606-723-3587. They are open until 2:15 p.m. today.
