LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kroger has teamed up with the University of Kentucky to deck out the grocery store closest to UK's campus.
The Euclid Avenue Kroger has now become the Big Blue Kroger.
The UK logo has been put on the side of the building, along with photos of UK basketball and other UK photos.
A Kroger spokeswoman said the company is very excited to expand their partnership with the university.
"Kroger is thrilled to continue to link our name, and our brand, to the University of Kentucky because we admire how this great institution is woven into nearly every aspect of our state - from education, to healthcare, to agriculture and food production, to finance, energy, sustainability, and so much more," said Erin Grant, Kroger spokeswoman.
