GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two people were taken to UK Hospital after being hit in a crash on Paris Pike.
Georgetown Police report that just after 3 p.m. on Saturday, a passenger vehicle turned from Elkhorn Meadows Drive onto Paris Pike. The vehicle hit a motorcycle on Paris Pike close to exit 125 on I-75.
The two people on the motorcycle were taken to the hospital for their injuries. They are currently in serious but stable condition. Both have several broken bones. The two people in the vehicle were unharmed.
The road was shut down during this time but was reopened at 8 p.m.
No drugs, alcohol, or speeding are suspected.
