Greenville man arrested for possession of methamphetamine

GREENVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Greenville, Ky. man was arrested Monday after a Kentucky State Trooper discovered he was under the influence and in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

William Scarbro, age 62, was walking about two miles south of Greenville on the side of KY 189 around 5pm Monday when he was approached by a Kentucky State Trooper.

William Scarbro was arrested and booked in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, where he was charged with the following:

  1. Public Intoxication- Controlled Substance (Excludes Alcohol)
  2. Possession of Controlled Substance 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
  3. Drug Paraphernalia- Buy/Possess
  4. Tampering with Physical Evidence
  5. Criminal Littering
