LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — As the nation mourns the lives of those lost by the recent mass shootings in Dayton, Ohio and El Paso, Texas, a group plans to rally in Louisville for gun reform.

Volunteers with the Kentucky chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will gather at Jefferson Square Park on Saturday.

They will be advocating for what they call "common sense gun reform" by putting the pressure on senators to pass the Federal Red Flag Bill.

The group will also honor the 100 Americans that are shot and killed everyday through gun violence.

The rally has been planned for 11 a.m. on Saturday.
