MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A hearing in Marshall County on Monday morning is going to decide whether statements given by accused high school shooter, Gabriel Parker, will be thrown out.
Parker is the accused gunman in the January 2018 Marshall County High School shooting.
Parker is facing two murder charges and 14 assault charges.
In July, Parker's attorney filed a motion saying his client's rights were violated and some of the self-incriminating statements he gave should be thrown out of the upcoming trial.
The commonwealth's attorney disagrees with this.
