LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Hilton Lexington Downtown announced an $8 million dollar renovation that is expected to be completed by early Spring.

When completed, the hotel lobby will offer the latest in Hilton food and beverage concepts. These include:

Triangle Grille – A 128 seat, up-casual restaurant serves breakfast and lunch seven days per week. Tripadvisor [tripadvisor.com] rates Triangle Grille’s breakfast buffet as the best in Lexington, and groups enjoy the restaurant’s private dining room with seating for 40 guests.

The Crossroads Café –Barista-made hot and cold beverages and paninis made to order, lead the offerings which also includes freshly baked breakfast breads and pastries, sandwiches, salads, snacks and sundries.

The Crossroads Lounge - Soft seating choices provide guests with a comfortable place to enjoy their Crossroads Cafe selections.

BBM - More of a good thing. Hoops fans, convention goers, weekly business travelers and vacationers alike will enjoy an expanded BBM experience as additional seating spreads into the lobby. BBM has an extensive collection of more than 150 bourbons and ryes, a large selection of locally crafted beers as well as Mixologists’ curated cocktails.

Lugo said that the hotel will donate the lobby’s centerpiece horse statues to the UK Children’s Hospital as the lobby space is transformed into an inviting living room experience.

Guest room upgrades include locally inspired decor, Hilton Suite Dream mattresses and 55-inch televisions. Three additional guest rooms will bring the total to 369 to correspond with the hotel’s 369 Vine St. address.

General manager Alex Lugo said said the hotel is minimizing guest impact by transforming one floor at a time and leaving the floors above and below as a buffer whenever possible.

“Our guests mean everything to us, so we’re doing everything possible to limit the impact on them,” Lugo said.

“We know how disruptive construction can be, so we’re asking for patience, and hope guests will tell us if there’s anything else we can do to make their stay more enjoyable.”

The hotel is located just five minutes from the University of Kentucky's campus. Keeneland and Blue Grass Airport are both just 15 minutes away.
