GREENUP COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Investigators have released the name of an elderly woman who was killed in a house fire in Greenup County.
The fire broke out on Friday night at a home along Ashbrooke Hill.
Kentucky State Police said that 79-year-old Louise Batchelor was found dead in a guest building.
Investigators said that foul play is not suspected and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Crews from several fire departments responded to the scene.
