(LEX 18) — Joe Biden has become the fourth candidate to file to run for the Democratic ticket in Kentucky.
This will be for the primary on May 19.
Biden was the 47th vice president from 2009 to 2017 and was also in the U.S. Senate from 1973 to 2009.
While in the Senate, Biden represented Delaware.
On his campaign website, Biden has listed some of his plans if he becomes president. Some of those plans include ending violence against women and ending gun violence.
His website also mentions that he would like to rebuild the middle class.
"This country wasn't built by Wall Street bankers and CEOs and hedge fund managers," Biden's website states. "It was built by the American middle class."
