PULASKI COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A jury has recommended a life sentence plus 70 years for a Graves County man found guilty of murder.

Ezell Miller had been accused of shooting and killing 22-year-old Lauren Alexander of Mayfield in February 2016. Miller told investigators he went to her home because he believed another man was there. He said he and Alexander began arguing when the gun went off accidentally. However, the jury didn't buy that defense and found him guilty of murder around 8 p.m. Friday night.
