HARRISON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Searchers and rescuers were called to Robinson Dam in Harrison County after reports of a missing kayaker. Thankfully, the resourceful man successfully managed to rescue himself.
The kayaker, Adam McQueen, spoke to LEX 18's Eleanor Buckley and said he was out with friends when he lost his paddles.
Nightfall was setting in. Thankfully, the man managed to make it to shore and hiked back up the dam where everyone was organizing the rescue. He was uninjured.
