LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The Kentucky Blood Center said blood transfusions have been outpacing donations and they need you to donate to help save lives.
Malibu Jack's is hosting a holiday pop-up blood drive at the Nicholasville Road location on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Donors will get a $25 play card to the indoor theme park.
The blood center said that it typically sees a drop in donations during the holidays when people become busier.
