FRANKLIN, COUNTY — Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has requested for Kentucky State Police to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred around 2:37 pm Saturday on Hunter Trace Road in Franklin County.
A male suspect was transported by Frankfort EMS to Frankfort Regional Hospital and remains in critical condition.
At the request of the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, KSP Post 12 investigators arrived on scene and the investigation into the incident remains ongoing.
