FRANKFORT, Ky. (LEX NEWS) — Kentucky State University has lifted its campus closure after receiving an all clear following a safety threat that prompted officials to shut down its main campus and Benson Farm.

University officials said all faculty, staff, and students on the main campus were directed to leave immediately and calmly following recommendations from local law enforcement regarding a potential threat to campus safety. Faculty and staff were asked to resume work remotely.
