Ky. budget contains proposal to make Daylight Saving permanent

(LEX 18) — Within the state budget that recently passed in the state house is a proposal that might make some very happy.

The 33rd item under the general provision section of the bill is a proposal to keep daylight saving time year round, meaning the commonwealth would not fall back during Autumn months.

The state budget was passed in the House 86-10 and will progress to the Senate.

Daylight Saving time kicks off Sunday, March 8 at 2 a.m. Clocks will move forward one hour.
