KNOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Kentucky road has closed down after a rockfall.
Traffic Alert: Road Closure: KY 15 from MM 3-MM 4 approaching KY 160 intersection is closed due to a large rockfall which has broken a water line. Road will be closed four to five hours. The rockfall occurred on mile marker 4 of KY 160 in Knott County.
A main waterline was busted. The road will not open up until the water line has been repaired.
According to Keith Buckhout, a spokesperson with KYTC, no injuries have been reported.
Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises the closure will last four to five hours.
