LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Traffic is moving again on Thursday morning after a crash sent two to the hospital on Wednesday night.
The crash happened just after 11 p.m. on Wednesday on Harrodsburg Road at Larkspur Drive. The crash had caused the intersection to be shut down.
Police said that witnesses told them a Jeep went off the road and hit a tree.
LEX 18 was told that the driver and passenger were both sent to the hospital with serious injuries.
The cause of the crash remains unclear as of Thursday morning.
