LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - — Many people remember September 11, 2001 as a beautiful morning that turned into a national tragedy by early afternoon. Many employees who work at LEX 18 now were still in grade school and high school on this day.
But many of the familiar faces you know and love were here at the station when the terror attack that changed America forever began.
News was preempted by NBC National coverage in New York and Washington D.C. At 11 p.m., Nancy Cox and Kevin Christopher went on air with local coverage.
