LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Louisville man thought he was chatting with a 15-year-old girl when he asked for sex and nude pictures, but was actually chatting with an undercover detective.
The man, Joseph Zakhari, also sent nude photos of himself during the chat. Later, that same undercover detective arrested him on federal charges.
Zakhari has been charged with attempted online enticement of a minor and attempted transfer of obscene matter to a minor.
The enticement charge carries a potential prison sentence of at least 10 years and up to life in prison.
No hearings have been set in the case.
