JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (PAINTSVILLE HERALD) — Things went from bad to worse for a Johnson County man facing criminal charges in court, when he allegedly got into a fight with court officers.

The Paintsville Herald reported that Timothy Hall, 26, was in court on Friday to be arraigned for second-degree assault. Hall is allegedly a persistent felony offender.

Hall was shackled and cuffed and was being led back to his cell when he allegedly assaulted two bailiffs and a probation officer, according to the paper.

At one point, an officer's gun fell to the floor, at which point the Commonwealth's Attorney joined the scuffle to help the officers restrain Hall.

Hall has now been additionally charged with assaulting an officer in the third degree.
