LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — 23-year-old, Robert Lee Collins, died Saturday following a car accident involving a Lexington Fire Truck, according to the Fayette County Coroner's Office.
Collins was traveling outbound on Harrodsburg Road when he collided with a Lexington fire truck that was turning left onto Beaumont Centre Pkwy.
Rescue personel had to extract Collins from his SUV before he was taken to the UK Medical Center. He was pronounced dead at 2:44 p.m.
