WHITLEY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Whitley County man is facing charges in connection with a missing woman has been sentenced to five years for complicity to commit murder and five years for facilitation to commit robbery, according to the Times Tribune.
Joseph Bauer has reportedly been in jail since 2018 on unrelated charges.
It has been reported that Bauer played a role in the disappearance and murder of Laura Anderson.
Bauer allegedly worked with others to kill Anderson, hide her body and use force while robbing Anderson.
According to the Commonwealth's attorney, the family was hoping for a life sentence in the case.
