LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — A 48-year-old man has been struck and killed by a train in Lincoln County, according to the Lincoln County Coroner.
The identity of the man has been identified as Scott Boyd of Danville.
Boyd was walking north in the Bowen area when he was hit by a train that was traveling southbound while he was walking on the tracks.
At this point in the investigation, it believes this incident was an accident.
A toxicology test will be conducted, according to the coroner.
