WEBSTER COUNTY, Ky. (WFIE/WNKY) — A mine in Webster County has been scheduled to close on Feb. 7.

WFIE reported that a WARN notice was filed for the Dotiki Mine and showed when the remaining 40 employees will be without jobs.

The notice said that the employees involved includes three office workers, one prep plant worker, eight from the surface shops and yards and 28 underground workers.

Hundreds of employees were fired back in August, according to WFIE.

The Dotiki Mine has been used since 1967 and had employed more than 200 people.
