More jobs coming to Perry County

PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Gov. Matt Bevin and officials from Intuit Incorporated and Sykes Enterprises Incorporated announced a partnership between the two companies that will bring more jobs to Perry County.

The jobs will be at a customer service center in Perry County's Coal fields Regional Industrial Park.

The partnership will include the renovation of a facility in the park.

Intuit plans to hire 150 people by the end of 2019 and an additional 150 by the end of 2020.

Company leaders anticipate renovations to begin in the coming weeks with the facility operational by January 2020.
