LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — UPDATE: All lanes of New Circle Road in the area of Harrodsburg Road are back open in both directions as of 11:30 a.m. Monday.
New Circle Road at Harrodsburg Road was shut down in both directions after a vehicle collision.
The inner and outer loops reopened at 10:45 a.m. Monday.
Lexington police say a vehicle struck the guardrail and flipped over into the inner loop, causing the driver to be ejected Monday morning.
The driver was transported to UK hospital with life-threatening injuries.
