According to WAVE, the state of Indiana is suspending work requirements for those who receive their health insurance from Medicaid.

The work requirements were scheduled to start on December 31, 2019, but they have been put on hold due to a federal lawsuit.

WAVE reported that patients would have been required to show that they had worked at least 20 hours in one month, or met other standards, to keep their Medicaid.

According to WAVE, federal courts have blocked President Donald Trump and his administration from allowing similar requirements for Kentucky and Arkansas.
