OLDHAM COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18/WAVE) — A Thortons employee in Oldham County was injured during a robbery of the store, according to WAVE.
Police said that two men went into the Thortons located near the Oldham-Jefferson County line around 7:15 p.m. and robbed the store of cigarettes.
According to WAVE, the two suspects fled the parking lot in a van and hit an employee of the store on the way out.
The employee suffered injuries to his lower back and was taken to the hospital.
According to WAVE, police have not made any arrests.
