Two dead after crash in Woodford County

WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 19) — Two people are dead following a crash Saturday evening on Interstate 64 in Woodford County.

It happened near the Woodford and Scott County line.

KSP reports that the initial investigation shows that a red, 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck was going westbound on I-64 when the driver lost control and overturned in the median.

Phillip Cox, age 80 of Glasgow, KY, and Katherine Locke, age 74 of Cave City, KY were both in the vehicle when it crashed. They were pronounced dead at the scene.

Jasmin Ramic, age 51 of Glasgow, KY was also in the truck, according to KSP. She was transported to UK Hospital where she was treated for minor injuries.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing. KSP Post 12 Reconstruction Unit, Trooper Jacob Guffey, is the lead on the case.
