LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A man is facing several charges, including assault, in connection with a shooting that happened last month on Glen Arvin Avenue.
Lexington Police Department has charged 29-year-old Bruce Benton with assault in the first degree, three counts of wanton endangerment, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He is currently in custody on unrelated charges in Hamilton County, Ohio.
Police say at the time of the shooting, they found an adult victim with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
