HOPKINS COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police report that a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Tuesday evening on U.S. 41 in Hopkins County.
According to KSP, a preliminary investigation indicates that a Nissan sedan struck a pedestrian who was reportedly standing in the roadway.
KSP says the pedestrian was identified as 70-year-old Joseph Davis, who was pronounced dead at the scene by the Hopkins County coroner.
The investigation remains ongoing by KSP.
