LONDON, Ky. (LEX 18) — The London-Laurel Rescue Squad reports that people were rescued from a home on Laurel River Road late Monday night due to flooding in Laurel County.
According to officials, they responded to the home and used a boat to safely evacuate the homeowners.
Officials say they completed welfare checks in the affected community.
