LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A pickup truck has crashed into the corner of an area Arby's restaurant.
Firefighters were called to the Arby's location on Plaudit Place in Hamburg on Wednesday afternoon. Several fire units responded to the scene.
Firefighter Holly Buchenroth tells LEX 18 the driver may have put the vehicle in reverse and hit the accelerator too hard, causing the wreck.
No one was directly injured, according to firefighters. One person was transported to the hospital for an unrelated medical emergency.
Crews are checking the structural stability of the building. It's unclear when it will reopen.
