JESSAMINE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — One man is in custody and another is being looked for after they allegedly led police on a high-speed chase around Wilmore in Jessamine County.
The chase happened around 3 a.m. on Sunday. Police said that they men were in a stolen car.
A deputy tried to pull the car over, but police said that the driver took off instead of stopping.
The chase led police along High Bridge Road at high speeds and the driver crashed through a fence in an attempt to get away.
Then, police said the men fled on foot.
Officers were able to catch one of the men, but they are still looking for the other one.
Police have not released the identity of the suspects.
