BOYLE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Two people have been arrested after police said they found drugs during a traffic stop.
Danville police stopped Whitney Haste, 24, on Monday.
Police said they could smell marijuana coming from inside of her car.
William Eastridge, 32, was the passenger of the car.
Police said that, at first, Eastridge gave them a false name.
Police later found a black dress sock with cash hidden on Eastridge and drugs in the vehicle.
According to police, Eastridge tried to consume the meth that he had hidden on his body while on the way to jail.
Both Haste and Eastridge are now facing drug charges.
