LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington man has been sent to jail after police went to remove him from an apartment, then allegedly found several types of drugs inside.

Jeremiah Burnham, 20, was arrested on Friday afternoon.

Police discovered a warrant for Burnham's arrest on a first-degree robbery charge from Nov. 22, when he allegedly took a man's cellphone at gunpoint.

Inside the apartment, officers reported that they found fentanyl and cocaine in plain view, along with scales and measuring cups.

Burnham was arrested on the original robbery charge along with trafficking in a controlled substance.
