Police in Louisville investigating deadly shooting

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) — Louisville Metro Police are investigating a deadly shooting that happened in a Louisville neighborhood on Sunday morning, according to WAVE.

According to Alicia Smiley, a spokeswoman for LMPD, told WAVE that a call came in around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday for a reported shooting in the Parkland neighborhood.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found a victim with several gunshot wounds, according to WAVE.

The victim is a male in his 50s, according to WAVE, and his identity has not been released as of Sunday afternoon.

No suspects have been confirmed. There have also been on arrests made.
