LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — According to police, a man rushed to help a friend during a fight on Saturday morning, but then found himself to be the victim of a car theft.
This happened around 2:30 a.m. on Saturday in the 500 block of South Limestone.
Police said the victim was leaving the Prince Hookah Lounge when he spotted a friend involved in a fight across the street.
According to police, the man got out of his SUV to help his friend, but left the SUV running.
A few minutes later, the man watched as someone got in the front seat and drove away, hitting two cars and fleeing.
Police are still searching for the victim's black Chevy Trailblazer.
