Police: Man in jail after allegedly beating girlfriend, pointing gun at her

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington man is in jail after his girlfriend told police he beat her and pointed a gun at her in a jealous rage.

Hakeem Olajuwon Cobb, 24, was arrested on Friday afternoon.

The alleged victim told police that Cobb punched her in the back of the head several times and pointed a gun at her while demanding to know who she was cheating on him with.

Cobb has now been charged with wanton endangerment and dating violence.
