HARDIN COUNTY, Ky. (WAVE) — According to WAVE, a woman in Hardin County now faces serious charges after police said she threatened to shoot a school bus driver.
WAVE reported that Melissa Sizemore of Elizabethtown has been charged with terroristic threatening and menacing.
A police report had indicated that Sizemore walked into a school bus garage on August 16 and said she would "shoot that m----f-----," referring to a school bus driver that didn't drop her daughter off.
According to WAVE, Sizemore also found a group of employees and said she would "f--- all of y'all up" if anything happened to her daughter.
WAVE asked the district for a comment on her arrest, but they would not give one. However, they did release this statement:
"Hardin County Schools will take every possible step to ensure student and staff safety. We take any threat to a student or staff member seriously. We have an incredible relationship with every law enforcement agency in our county and know we can contact them on any issue. Their assistance is critical in keep a safe learning and working environment. We are grateful for all of our first responders."
