The Lexington Police Department says that a paramedic was injured after a rock was reportedly thrown at a Georgetown-Scott County ambulance Thursday morning on Newtown Pike near New Circle Road, shattering the driver's side window.

According to police, the paramedic suffered minor injuries, and a man "matching the description of who threw the rock" was located and arrested.
