METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Authorities said they have caught the woman accused of intentionally hitting multiple headstones at a Metcalfe County graveyard with a vehicle.

LEX 18 was told that 63-year-old Pamela Stearns is now facing charges in connection to violating the graves, according to WNKY.

Back on August 17, Stearns is accused of entering the Missionary Mound Cemetery in Edmonton in her vehicle and intentionally running over the headstones.

A week ago, Metcalfe County sheriff's deputies said they located the vehicle used during the incident.

Stearns was taken to the Barren County Detention Center.
