KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Deputies in Knox County are investigating an armed robbery that turned violent.
The Sheriff's Office said that a masked man entered the A & B Quick Stop and demanded money, while holding a store clerk at gunpoint.
A customer sneaked up behind the robber and tried to stop him, but the two scuffled before the robber assaulted the customer.
The robber then grabbed a bag of money and fled.
Police have since recovered the getaway vehicle, but have still not found a suspect.
