(LEX 18) — A Pulaski County woman accused of abandoning her six children at an Adair County Walmart has been arrested, according to the Commonwealth Journal.

Amanda Jardinez, 34, was reportedly found Saturday night in Pulaski County.

According to the paper, Jardinez was charged with six counts of abandoning a minor and wanton endangerment.

Jardinez has also been charged in connection with an outstanding warrant in Rockcastle County for failure to appear on an assault charge.

It has been reported that Police said Jardinez went into the Columbia Walmart with six children, two of which were her own.

She allegedly told the children to find a Walmart employee and then started to leave. Three of the kids reportedly attempted to follow her, but she allegedly made them go back inside, leaving them with James Holovich and his five-year-old daughter.

Officials said that Holovich is still at large as of Monday morning.
