LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — A Lexington man that was accused of robbing a drugstore twice has now been faced with federal charges.

Michael McReynolds, 32, is believed to be the man who entered the Hubbard and Curry Pharmacy on Professional Drive, just off Nicholasville Road, on Sep. 27 with a gun. The gun was believed to be an AK-47.

Once inside, McReynolds allegedly demanded cash and pills.

The robber then returned on Oct. 18 and demanded more drugs.

Police were able to identify McReynolds as a suspect after taking fingerprints from the front door.

He was previously charged with robbery in a Fayette County courtroom.

McReynolds has now been charged with interference with commerce by robbery in federal court.
