LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Thanksgiving is less than two weeks away and on Saturday, starting at 8 a.m., nearly 350 people will come together to help pack 4,500 baskets of food for those in need to have Happy Thanksgiving.
This is an annual event put together by God's Pantry in Lexington.
This is the 26th year for the Sharing Thanksgiving program and organizers said it is one of the food bank's most popular and fun events of the year.
The baskets will be distributed the week of Thanksgiving, along with turkey and other perishable items.
