LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — According to Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger, two people were killed in a small plane crash Friday evening.
Kentucky State Police identified the two victims Saturday morning as 61-year-old Ronald Eldridge and 63-year-old Lowell Strong, both of Nicholasville.
The bodies will be transported to the State Medical Examiner's Officer in Frankfort for autopsies.
The small two-seater plane crashed around 5 p.m. in Lincoln County near KY-643 and Pinegrove Road.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the plane crash.
The NTSB is investigating the crash Friday of a Beech V35 airplane in Crab Orchard, Kentucky.
