Shooting in Lexington leaves 1 injured, police looking for suspect

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — According to police, a shooting happened in Lexington on Thursday around 4:45 p.m. and left one victim injured.

The victim was in the passenger side of a vehicle that was driving down Hollow Creek Road.

According to police, the suspect allegedly ran up to the car, shot inside and hit the victim in the head.

The driver of the vehicle drove to Radcliffe Road and called for help.

Police said they do not believe this shooting was random.

The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.

Police are still looking for a suspect and they only have a vague description.
