LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Witnesses reported hearing gunshots near the Roots & Heritage Festival as the event was winding down on Saturday night.
The call came in just before 11 p.m., reporting that shots had been fired on Wilson Street, about a block away from the festival.
Police said they responded to the scene and found several shell casings.
No shooter has been found as of Sunday morning.
No one was injured.
