LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — The trial for the Laurel County man facing murder charges from a January 2017 incident has been continued for the second time this month.

Michael Collier is accused of shooting and killing his father-in-law, Gordon Browning, and hurting his wife and another woman.

The Commonwealth's attorney said the case is being delayed once again due to how complex it is.

A pretrial conference has been set for September 12 and the new trial date is expected to be released at that time.
